Dr. Gale Gardner, Clinical Profesor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery at LSUHS was the featured speaker at the May Wellness Luncheon, held at East Ridge Country Club. He spoke about "What's New with Hearing and Balance at LSU." He told the audience about the cochlear implant program at LSU Health Shreveport and the exciting new advances on the horizon in the field of otolaryngology. Dr. Gardner came to Shreveport to start the cochlear implant program at LSUHS. Thanks to Dr. Gardner for sharing his expertise with us and educating us on what can be done to combat hearing loss.
