Support the McDade House at Feist-Weiller Cancer Center

Proceeds from Life Savers 2024 will be directed to renovate the McDade House to serve as a hospitality house providing temporary lodging for Feist-Weiller patients undergoing treatment. The McDade House originally opened in 1985 as the second-ever hospital hospitality house in the nation; it is located just steps from OLHS St. Mary Medical Center.

Feist-Weiller is the only academic cancer center in North Louisiana, and more than 50% of Feist-Weiller patients have to travel more than 20 miles for their treatment. A cancer diagnosis is hard enough. The McDade House aims to ease patient housing stress, letting them concentrate on healing and offering a comforting home away from home.
