Jubilee & Temper Williams

An Evening for Healers 2025

In 2022, Temper and Xavier Williams were thrilled to be expecting twins. But at 14 weeks, Temper learned she was miscarrying Baby A. Clinging to hope for Baby B, Jubilee Williams, she stayed pregnant until 22 weeks when her water broke again. Despite the odds of survival for a baby born so young, doctors at Ochsner LSU Health St. Mary Medical Center acted quickly and valiantly to save Jubilee. After an emergency c-section, Temper was sent to the ICU while Jubilee, born at just 14 ounces, was rushed to the NICU. For nearly four months, the Williams family rode an emotional rollercoaster as Jubilee fought to grow and thrive. Today, she is home with her family thanks to the teams at Ochsner LSU Health St. Mary Medical Center.
