Microbiology & Immunology

With your support, the Department of Microbiology and Immunology conducts research for the National Institute of Health, furthering the understanding of viruses, bacteria, and the immune system. Our microbiologists are making breathtaking progress in understanding and combating infectious pathogens through innovative molecular, biochemical, and computational technologies. The department is rapidly growing, recently doubling the size of its postdoctoral program and adding new faculty members.
