2023 HBCU Educational Conference Sponsorship
LSU Health Shreveport Office for Diversity Affairs implemented the HBCU Educational Conference in 2019. The conference is a strategy used to increase the number of prospective Black medical students who apply, interview, and matriculate into our medical education program. Your sponsorship commitment is an excellent example of community support and is also a way to build a positive relationship with prospective and currently enrolled medical students at LSU Health Shreveport. The funds generated from this event will help the university to meet some unexpected financial needs of the students enrolled in our educational programs.
In addition to the conference this year, we are pleased to announce a Gala benefitting the Office for Diversity Affairs on Friday, November 10, featuring Dr. John H. Stewart, IV as the keynote speaker.
