The BioStart Program welcomed 8 new interns this week from the Biotechnology Magnet Program at Southwood High School. LSU Health Foundation is a major sponsor of the program with funds provided by our donors.
This afternoon we celebrated Dr. Joe McCulloch, Dean of the LSU Health School of Allied Health Professions, who will be retiring on June 30th . We are so thankful for him and all that he has done for our health sciences center over the past 38 years!

AT&T Louisiana recently presented a check to LSU Health Shreveport Foundation in sponsorship of An Evening for Healers 2018.
A generous $150,000 donation from the Zadeck Family Foundation establishes an endowed fund benefiting the new Center for Brain Health at LSU Health Shreveport.

The Reid Chadwick Memorial Award, established by the Chadwick Family Foundation, in memory of fourth-year medical student Reid Chadwick recognizes a fourth-year medical student who has exhibited evidence of conducting research in addition medicine, shown leadership in raising awareness or funding for addiction disease, or plans to specialize in addiction medicine.
