Physician Assistant Program
The Physician Assistant Program 25th Anniversary Campaign
As we celebrate the 25th year of preparing qualified Physician Assistants to provide health care for Louisiana citizens, we are embarking on a bold plan to expand access to the LSU Health Shreveport Allied Health PA program. We are excited to announce the creation of a new scholarship fund for highly qualified students. These scholarships will allow us to enhance our recruitment efforts and grow our program.
We are inviting you to join us and make an impact as we begin this exciting campaign!
“Thank you so much for your contribution to my education and for your continued investment in the PA program here at LSU Health Shreveport. I am honored to be a recipient of this scholarship and hope to make you all proud throughout my education and PA career. Your generosity is greatly appreciated!” – Abbie Davis
“I really appreciate the opportunity to be a student in this program; it’s been an incredible experience so far and we’ve learned so much in such a short time. I’m grateful to the faculty and to the alumni and donors that made this scholarship possible. My father was diagnosed with cancer just prior to my start in the program and this scholarship was a huge help to me and my family as our financial situation shifted. I look forward to the chance to continue to grow as my classmates and I move forward and for a chance to continue to serve the Shreveport community to the best of our ability.” –Claire Herke
