Pathology

Patient care. Research. Education. These are the pillars of our pathology department. At the heart of our mission is a commitment to delivering the highest level of patient care to the communities we serve. Our ACGME Accredited Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Residency and Cytopathology Fellowship Programs prepare physicians for success in private practice or academic careers in pathology. We accomplish this through teaching, daily service, and by supporting scholarly activity. To continue providing our trainees with opportunities to develop scholarly activity, we need financial support for research projects and to send trainees to local and national conferences. By supporting this research, we encourage lifelong learning and scholarly thinking that ultimately leads to improved patient care.
